Tifway 419 Bermuda
Tifway 419 grass is an improved hybrid Bermuda. It is a fine textured, dense hybrid turf that excels in high traffic areas.
Tifway performs best in full sun and is excellent is drought and heat tolerance.
Usage: Tifway 419 Bermuda is recommended for high traffic and heavy use conditions such as athletic fields, golf
fairways and tees.
Watering: Newly planted Tifway 419 should be watered daily and kept wet during the first 7-10 days. A deep soaking
thereafter every 5-7 days is generally adequate during season.
Fertilization: During the spring, summer and fall months it should be fertilized with ¾ to 1lb nitrogen applied to each
1,000 sqft of lawn.
Maintenance: Tifway 419 should be mowed weekly at a height of ½ to ¾ inches.
Weed, Insect & Disease Control: Tifway 419 Bermuda is virtually free of weeds, insects and disease.
